The advent of Large Language Models (LLMs) has revolutionized translation capabilities, allowing one to break through language barriers that once posed significant challenges when traveling to foreign destinations, doing international business, or interacting with anyone that speaks a different language than your own.
Among these powerful LLMs is ChatGPT, which leverages the OpenAI API, and proved a helpful travel companion — providing translations and context not available in standard translation applications or books. In this article, I walk through my own use of ChatGPT as a translation tool and share with you a tool I created utilizing the OpenAI API, which streamlines the translation process.
